I have started to write this review of Dismount multiple times, and each time I do, I can never find the words to express how I felt not only about the conclusion of Kova and Ria’s story but that the series is now complete. How do you put into words the number of tears you shed, how do you put into words the emotions that were pulled from you? I am still struggling to find the way to express how my heart feels like it has been shredded but at the same time it feels whole. From the very first page of Dismount, I knew, I KNEW I would never be the same again and I was right.
Kova and Ria have been through ups and downs, though heaven and hell. The question is though, will they have their happily ever after or will it be all for nothing? I loved how strong Ria was, I loved how exposed Kova was when he would open up. The continued push and pull between them had my sobbing, my heart breaking, butterflies in my stomach, my heart racing and had me wishing the book would never end. I threw my kindle, drank more wine that I should have but I just needed to find out what happens. There are a lot of emotional moments in Dismount, but I will say some of the most heartbreaking ones that had me in tears the most were the journals. When you read Dismount, I am sure you will agree.
I want to go on and on about everything that happens between Ria and Kova, but I won’t spoil the book for anyone. I wish I could beg and bribe Lucia Franco to write more of Ria and Kova, I would beg on my hands and knees if I knew it would work.
With each book in the Off Balance series Lucia Franco has blown me away with each and every book, but Dismount absolutely is the best one yet. The way that Lucia Franco made this book whore feel while reading this series is something only a handful of authors have been able to do, and that is not only make me a fan for life, but also be in total awe of the way she can so beautifully write a story that it steals a piece of your heart but stays in your soul.
