Review! In The Land Of Gods And Monsters By Carmen Jenner

In the land of Gods and Monsters, she was a toy. A plaything. A pet.

His pet.

Taken, stolen, beaten, used.

Pet remembers nothing before his touch, and afterward, she craves nothing more.

Sinful and merciless, Ares is her God now. He alone says when to beg, when to come, and when to kneel, but he never said anything about leaving.

Seriously what did I just read? I mean that in a good way as I am lost for words about how I feel about In The Land Of Gods And Monsters. My evil disturbed heart and mind absolutely loved each and every moment of the book. This is a dark romance there is no trying to soften it up, it is dark, it could cause triggers to some, and I can’t wait to read more.

Pet and Ares, these two will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning until the very end where you will want to throw your kindle and be like why in the hell did you end it here Ms. Jenner?!?!? This book is intense, so keep that in mind, and plan to have your mind wondering if you just read what you really just did read. The chemistry between Ares and Pet is off the charts and I felt so many emotions while reading their story.

I honestly am impatiently waiting for the next book because I need to know what will happen now between Pet and Ares, I have a feeling that we are going to be on one hell of a ride that will make this book look like a cake walk.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” He presses his front against my back, eliminating the space between us. My heart races as I feel his erection through his suit pants.
I shiver. “Will you hurt me in here, Sir?”
“Of course.”
“Will you make me cry?”
“I usually do.”
I steel my jaw, because the way he talks about my pain, my torment, is just cruel. “Then what are you waiting for?”
“An audience,” he whispers, his tongue darting out to lick the space where my shoulder meets my neck. I close my eyes, bring my arm up behind his head, and slide my fingers into his hair as he devours my flesh. My body is electric, on fire, and buzzing with need. His words terrify me, and yet I’ve never been more turned on.

Book Tour! Good Gone Bad By Giana Darling

They say one action doesn’t define you.  I killed a man. Stabbed him in the neck and licked the blood off my lips after I did it.
Still, one action doesn’t define you.
I could have called anyone. My father, the Prez of The Fallen MC, our family lawyer, my best friend, Lila, or my brother, King.
I didn’t.
Instead, I called Lionel Danner, the police officer renowned for taking down the Nightstalkers MC. The man who had been my father’s arch nemesis for decades. The man who hated everything I stood for. A man who had disappeared from my life without explanation three years ago.
I called him.
And maybe one action doesn’t define you, but killing a bad man and calling in the good changed my life and it sure as hell changed his.
The third book in the Fallen Men Series. A standalone featuring Harleigh Rose and Officer Lionel Danner.

Well hello there Officer Danner you can tie I mean cuff me anytime and do a very in depth frisking. Who am I kidding you could tie me up too. Good Gone Bad, in my opinion tops the sexiness in both of the previous books combined! I loved the chemistry and connection that Danner and Harleigh Rose had, even through ups and downs these two had a connection that is out of this world. They balance each other in some ways yet keep off balance them as well. Yes I know that may not make sense but I think once you read their book that it may make sense.

Harleigh Rose isn’t the same bratty character that we’ve come to know in the previous books, somethings have happened, things that if her dad and brother had known, well let’s just say they would have added to their body count. Now that bratty and sassy side of Harleigh Rose is still there, but there is a harder edge to her now, one that will do whatever it takes to get her revenge.

Danner is well to state plainly, sex on a fucking stick. Now did he make me want to smack him a couple of times? Yes, he did but I understood what was happening I just didn’t like it. The protectiveness he shows his Rosie is just another reason why I needed more than one wardrobe chance while reading this one. Damn this man is HOT! A gentleman and a Dom all wrapped into one sexy as sin package, Harleigh Rose you are one lucky bitch.

Now that ending! What are you trying to do to this book whore Ms. Darling!?!? I may have had a few choice words when I got done but now I NEED more! Good Gone Bad was one of my anticipated reads of the year and it did not disappoint at all. If you haven’t read this series yet, stop and READ IT PEOPLE! I am hooked and have to admit I have read the first two books more than once and now I need to read Good Gone Bad again.

Author Lee Piper - “So yeah, Good Gone Bad is hot AF. But it’s also more than that. It’s layered, multifaceted, and above all, beautifully written.”
Musings of the Modern Belle - “Good Gone Bad is not just a super steamy romance, it is not just a suspenseful story about taking down a corrupt MC, it is a reflection of how humans aren’t just good or bad. It is a look at how we are both, how we can find our match in another, someone who just inherently gets you. It is about living wild and free while still having limits and being able to surrender and submit for those you love. It is an epic ride I implore you to take. Giana and Danner and Rosie won’t let you down.”
Author R. Scarlett - “I am so so in love with this book and Giana's talent for creating addicting stories and beautiful complex characters.”
