While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Release Blitz! Tank By Laramie Briscoe

Life isn’t promised, love isn’t easy, and relationships aren’t always clean, but everyone has their soulmate who is willing to forgive when it would be better to forget.

Trevor “Tank” Trumbolt

I never thought in the blink of an eye my life could change, but it did. Cresting a hill driving to my favorite fishing spot, I was hit head-on by a teenager with no regard for anyone’s life but his own.

The recovery process has been hard, painful, and damn near beating me down.

The bright spot? Blaze.

Surviving the wreck has given me a second chance to make a life with her. Not knowing if I’ll ever be able to rejoin the Moonshine Task Force again has brought my world into focus. It’s made me realize what’s important.

Blaze. Stella. My brothers. My sister.

The ego that ran Blaze away before isn’t here any longer. What’s left is a man who’s holding his heart in his hands and a burning hope that once I’m healed she’ll still be around.

Daphne “Blaze” Coleman

There’s only been one person in the world who’s accepted me for who I am - from the fiery red of my hair and vibrant tattoos covering parts of my body to the smartness of my mouth and my desire to be matched in the bedroom.

That man is Trevor Trumbolt. When he asked me to give up my job as an EMT because he saw the dangers I face one scary afternoon, it spelled the end for us.

Now that he’s been injured, he needs my help and my love. I’ll give it all freely, but in the end I’m gonna need him to understand one thing about relationships. The give and take, love and sadness, pleasure and pain is a two-way street. He’s either in this with me or he’s not, but at the end of the day, I won’t let him boss me around.

If there’s anything that can handle the steel of a tank – it’s the heat of a blaze.

It must be said once again that Laramie Briscoe is an author who I have read from the very first book she wrote until her current release Tank, and with each book the growth she has shown as an author, the messages that she gets across, the storylines, the characters and the love are all the reasons why I will always come back and read more of what she writes.  Tank is a book about second chances at both love and life, it is about acceptance, it is about overcoming personal fears of your own and those of others, it is about redemption, but it is most importantly about love.  I think you could get away without reading the first book in the series but you may feel a bit lost and the relationship between Trevor and Blaze is started there so do yourself the favor and read Renegade before beginning Tank.

Trevor aka Tank and Blaze are characters that you will want to hold close to your hearts.  Tank had me in tears more than once, especially at the beginning, Blaze’s reaction was heartbreaking to read.  Trevor wanting her by his side had me in tears as well.  While the reason they are thrown back together isn’t one I would ever wish on anyone, it is the catalyst of them seeing if there is the opportunity for a second chance to their relationship.  Secrets, feelings held deep inside, and the reminders that at any time something could happen to take the person you love away from them and reacting badly to that all are things we see in Tank.  Trevor and Blaze are both characters with depth and come across as someone you would want as a friend or by your side.  Are these two the most stubborn and pig headed people on the planet?  Possibly, but that is another reason why I loved them and their story because they come across as real.

Tank very well may be my favorite book by Ms. Briscoe to date, although I think I say that with all her books so just know that each book is a great one and Tank is the latest addition to my favorite books from Ms. Briscoe.  I highly recommend Tank and am looking forward to the next book from Ms. Briscoe.
