I met Bianca in an elevator.
She was on her way to interview me when we got stuck.
The beautiful, raven-haired reporter assumed I was a delivery guy because of the way I was dressed.
She had no clue I was really Dex Truitt, the wealthy, successful businessman she’d dubbed “Mister Moneybags”—her afternoon appointment.
Bianca told me how much she hated Dex’s type—snobby, over educated, silver- spooned men who didn't appreciate the simple things in life.
So, after the elevator finally started moving again, I cancelled the interview and let her believe I was someone I wasn’t—a bike messenger named Jay. I loved the way she looked at the fake me and didn't want it to end.
I began dating her as “Jay”—all the while letting her interview the real me over email.
I didn’t expect that our chemistry online would be just as hot.
I didn’t expect the mess I’d gotten myself into.
I didn’t expect that Jay and Dex would fall in love with her.
And she was falling for two men.
Only, both men were me.
And when she found out, we were both going to lose her.
Nothing could have prepared me for that day. And I certainly wasn't prepared for what came after.
All good things must come to an end, right? Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.
I love Vi Keeland. I love Penelope Ward. I love their books written individually but when these two collaborate something magical happens because they write the most amazing books. I was talking to a fellow blogger who is also a friend and she said the same thing. Mister Moneybags took the love I have for them to a whole new level. The way they are able to completely enthrall you into the storylines and I mean right from the start is something a lot of authors aren’t able to do.
Dex. I want a Dex of my own. Please Ms. Keeland and Ms. Ward can you get me my very own Dex? Trust me when I say while Dex does do something that I could understand doing but at the same time wanted to beat him for and if you read the blurb you know what that is, and Jay was born. Hint if you aren’t catching on is Dex and Jay are one in the same. I totally understood why with how Bianca was acting when he first meets her and while I loved that he wanted her to see him beyond the bank balance and corporate title he should have been honest. Dex was sexy, he was funny, he was sweet, but he also was confident, strong, and I absolutely loved him.
Bianca now she was a feisty one to say the least. I immediately loved her character, she was strong, funny, and the kind of person you would want at your back. When you find out the reason why she feels that way about not only Mister Moneybags but high powered and rich men you can understand her where her feelings are coming from. When she learns the truth about Dex and Jay for a minute there I was like girl don’t make me hate you but it was all good.
There is a twist that happens and that was one I never saw coming and boy oh boy did that have me on the edge of my seat needing to know what was happening. I have never cussed these two out in my head like I have some other books but it came really close a couple of times but of course I had to keep reading and couldn’t not find out what happens. I loved it though, it took it to a whole other level and it worked. The chemistry between Dex and Bianca was off the charts, that build up, oh my lord I didn’t know if I would survive it but it was perfect.
Mister Moneybags was one of my most anticipated books and it doesn’t disappoint. If you have never read a book by these two amazingly talented authors then I can’t be friends with you, kidding or am I? But in all seriousness this is one book that you need to get your hands on immediately because it was one I absolutely loved and one I am screaming from the rooftops that everyone must read!
