Release Blitz! Bet Me By Lila Monroe

What happens when your sex strike goes viral -- and suddenly every man in town has their eye on your prize?

All I wanted was little old-fashioned romance. After a parade of Tinder disasters who think chivalry is giving me a pearl necklace on the first date, I made a pledge: until guys step up their game, this girl is off the market.

But one bottle of chardonnay later, and my drunken rant has gone viral. I’m the most famous person NOT having sex since the Jonas Brothers put on their purity rings. A men’s magazine has even put a bounty on my (ahem) maidenhead: fifty Gs to whoever makes me break the drought.

Be careful what you wish for...

Now my office looks like an explosion in a Hallmark factory, I’ve got guys lining up to sweep me off my feet - and the one man I want is most definitely off-limits. Jake Weston is a player through and through. He’s also the only one who sees through the mayhem to the real me, but how can I trust he’s not just out to claim the glory?

And how will I make it through the strike without scratching the itch - especially when that itch looks so damn good out of his suit?

The thrill of the chaste has never been so sexy in Lila Monroe’s hilarious, hot new romantic read!

Sometimes you just need a good rom-com to really put a smile on your face and Bet Me did just that. I just couldn't put it down once I started it and got lucky my son took a really long nap so I could read without having to stop.

I love the premise of the book. Wanting old fashioned romance and wooing from the people we date. I wish that the video she sent out was real because by the end I was about to strike myself. Lizzie had me so fired up that I started thinking my hubby needs to step it up some.

Lizzie loves the old movies the classics and how romance was still very much alive. She just wants more than a hook up, she wanted romance, love and to be wooed.

Jake is cocky, a manwhore,.doesn't believe in love or soul mates. He's met Lizzie before but let's just say he didn't follow through so her opinion of him isn't the best. So when he finds out about Lizzie's sex strike he tries to make her see that her strike won't last long. When something happens I knew it would come back to bite him in the ass and bite him it did.

Bet Me overall was a really cute and funny romance that will have you wishing for more romance in your life and possibly a romance inspired by the classics of your very own. This is one i definitely recommend!

Bet Me tells the story of Lizzie, a 30 year old woman positively disgusted with the dating scene in New York. She’s dying for some good old fashioned romance; someone to sweep her off of her feet and woo her. Sadly, she realizes that the dating pool isn’t all that she thought it should be and she made a drunken pledge to not have sex until a man wooed her. Little did she know that her video would go viral, turning her into a champion of sorts for women who also wanted a little romance.

Enter Jake Weston. Jake and Lizzie met a few years ago on New Years Eve, both drunk and single. However, the night didn’t end as they expected and Jake didn’t see Lizzie again for 3 years. Jake was a bit of a different hero than I expected. I didn’t immediately love him. I didn’t immediately want to dive under his surface and see if he was just hiding a heart of gold either, but he grew on me.

The push/pull between Jake and Lizzie was there from the start and watching them try to avoid the fact that they actually liked each other was fun at first. My issue was that I felt like it got a bit old between them; I felt like we were rehashing the same thing over and over even after they realized that they liked each other.

If you’re looking for a quick read that discusses what romance really can mean to different people, give Bet Me a try.
