What we had was real, but it's over. Ancient history.
She was under my skin, but I was under her dad's roof.
He warned me to stay away, but I couldn't.
We risked everything and I lost it all, to protect us
both.
Now I'm empty, and it's all too clear what's missing. Or,
rather, who.
None of the women who warm my bed can ever fill the void
inside my shattered heart.
That belongs to one person alone. My
"step-sister."
I never gave up hope that we'd get our second chance.
One phone call changes everything, and I'm about to claim
what's rightfully mine.
ADD TO GOODREADS
Oh My God! I thought the level of angst and drama in Falling
For The Forbidden was enough to have my heart clenching and emotions on
overdrive, but it is nothing compared to how I felt reading Losing The
Forbidden. I am going to stay as short as possible because I don’t want to
spoil this one or even the first if you haven’t read it yet.
My heart absolutely broke for Ben and Lauren as well but in
this one it was Ben who had tears forming into my eyes. Understanding why he
did what he did, what he sacrificed, and now knowing he has lost the one person
who makes his heart beat is heartbreaking and I personally wanted to reach
inside my kindle and hold him and say it would be okay. Lauren, while I
understood her anger, really disappointed me more than once with the fact that
she wouldn’t just talk to Ben.
I wish I had the next book now but I need to know what is
going to happen next. If you can’t tell this book whore is fully invested in
the outcome to this series and I am patiently waiting for the next book.
