About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Release Blitz! It Wasn't Me By Lani Lynn Vale

Piper Mackenzie first sees him shirtless, standing in front of the military plane she was about to board, with one rather large wrench in his hand. The fact that he has the plane—the one that she’s about to be flying on for hours—in pieces only minutes before she’s set to take off on it doesn’t faze her. At least not until a flippant joke about dying in mid-air leaves his lips.

The second time she sees him, he’s helping her from the wreckage of her car. The wreckage that he helped cause.

The third, he’s laying across from her in the same bed, and there’s no denying what happened the night before.

The fourth, well that time would be the first of many. Being Mrs. Jonah Crew has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?

Jonah Crew saw her for the first time as she stared at him in awe. It was snowing, the temp was in the negative degrees, and he couldn’t think about anything but her and the look of horror on her face when he tells a badly-timed joke.

The second time he sees her, his heart skips a beat, but not for the reason that one might think. Mainly, it’s due in part to the fact that his truck smashed into her car so hard that his chest hits the steering wheel and his heart decides to stop working right.

The third time, he’s fairly positive that he’s died and gone to heaven. At least, that’s what waking up next to a beautiful woman like her signifies, right?

The fourth? Well, he’s not quite sure how he got there, but he’s already said ‘I do’ so what’s a guy to do?
Sometimes fate play an important role when finding the one person that you are supposed to be with. In It Wasn’t Me, Piper and Jonah have four random meet ups that eventually set them on a path filled with, well I won’t spoil it at all for y’all but I will say that I really loved this book. While it is a part of the new KPD Motorcycle Patrol series, I really liked that the book honestly focused more on Jonah and Piper’s relationship than mainly on the new unit of the police department.

Jonah is rough around the edges to put it mildly. He is rude, cranky, speaks his mind and honestly doesn’t care if you like what he has to say or not. But, under all of that there is more to Jonah and it is that more to him that I personally fell in love with. Piper is quirky at times, but she is also sassy, sweet and honestly the perfect balance to Jonah. The chemistry between them is off the charts off and I honestly could read more about these two and not get bored. If you believe in soul mates, like I do, then in my opinion Jonah and Piper are just that.

It Wasn’t Me is another must read book from Lani Lynn Vale. I love the way that Lani Lynn Vale continues to have the ability to completely hook her readers into whatever series she is writing. If you have yet to read a book by her, why are you waiting?
