About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

ARC Review! The Lying Hours By Sara Ney

The Lying Hours by Sara NeyABRAHAM DAVIS—Honest Abe to his friends—IS IN OVER HIS HEAD...

He’s a fixer and a do good-er. The all-knowing, resident "grandfather" on the wrestling team who everyone relies on to fix their problems. His teammates go to him for everything; advice, homework, or when they need a sober driver at three in the morning--whether he likes it or not.

Abe’s current mission is easy: mend his roommates broken heart by helping him find a girlfriend on the LoveU app--without getting caught in the lie...

Over her bad grades. Over her meddling older brother and his two best friends. And over dating douchebags. What she wants to know is: where have all the nice guys gone?

She longs for a handsome, sweet, and honest guy who can make her laugh. In one last ditch effort to prove that he exists—Skylar turns to LoveU.

On her worst day, Skylar has no filter (it’s a miracle she hasn’t been ditched mid-date).
On her best, she’s as wholesome, and sweet, as pie.
On Thursday? She matches with Abraham Davis’s roommate.

Skylar Gabriel is falling for the wrong guy—she just doesn’t realize it yet.

When I heard that there was going to be another How To Date A Douchebag, I let out a huge squeal and did the happy dance because I absolutely LOVE these books and The Lying Hours did not disappoint at all! What more could I ask for? The Lying Hours is filled with laugh out loud moments, the perfect amount of angst and drama as well as characters you can’t help but love.

From the very start, I was drawn into Abe and Skylar’s story. Abe who was just helping his friend had no idea that he would find the perfect girl for himself but as his friend and not him. Yeah, that wasn’t his best decision at all and boy oh boy does it blow up in his face when Skylar finds out the truth. Skylar has already been deceived by an ex-boyfriend so she REALLY hates liars big time, and for her to give her trust in someone is a huge deal. The chemistry between Abe and Skylar is off the charts but will they be able to get passed on how their relationship essentially started out as a lie? Well you have to read the book duh, I am not telling you but prepare to become completely invested in their relationship. Add in Skylar’s roommate and an appearance of one of our favorite douchebags from another book and you have one of the best books I have read so far this year.

The Lying Hours is a must read and that is not a lie! Sorry bad pun but in all honesty, if you have loved the other books in this series then you will love The Lying Hours; I know this book whore sure did!
