About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Review! Inflame By Laramie Briscoe

Since my divorce five years ago, these are the two labels I've identified with. Now, I'm ready for more. Ready to give dating a shot, even with an eight-year-old daughter and twenty-four hour shifts needing my attention.

When Sydney has a snow-day and we have an epic malfunction in the kitchen, we decide to head to the breakfast joint we've frequented for years.

Except today something is different.

Our normal waitress, Emma, isn't all baggy clothes and ducking her head to keep me from seeing her face. Today? Today I feel like I see her for the first time, and damned if our gazes don't ignite a heat I've only felt while on the job.
Inflame is the first book in a new series by Laramie Briscoe and I really enjoyed it! I should probably note that I believe this is going to be a series of novella books, but even so Inflame was not lacking at all! I love a well written single parent, in this case a single father romance, and that is exactly what Inflame is about. A single dad who is also a fire fighter who finally sees the woman who has crushed on him for years.

Emma and Ash were characters that I loved learning about and watching their relationship bloom. There is a bit of drama during their story but nothing over the top or that took away from them finding each other. I loved Emma and Ash together and while their book is finished I hope we see more of them in the very soon future.

If you are looking for a fast paced, single dad romance then you found just that with Inflame. I have been a huge fan of Laramie Briscoe for years now and I am loving all the new books she has been putting out. Inflame is just another must read book that needs to be on your TBR list for sure!
