About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Release Blitz! Scoring The Keeper's Sister By Delancey Stewart

ERICA:

Signing up for a matchmaking service was not my idea. But when Andrew the hand model dumped me, my brother suggested I try Mr. Match. And I figured it couldn’t hurt–as it was, I’d never get away from meathead moron soccer players (since my brother plays keeper for the South Bay Sharks and I manage PR for the team.)

But Mr. Match is a moron too because he matched me with a guy I see at work every day. A guy who has a different girl on his arm at every turn. And a soccer player. Fernando Fuerte, the “Fuerte Fire,” is one guy I can assure you is NOT my match.

FERNANDO:

Getting girls is not a problem. Getting girls who care about something besides my status as the South Bay Sharks star striker, my salary, and my social status? Yeah. That’s the problem. So when my buddy Max tells me he’s actually Mr. Match–the secret proprietor of San Diego’s hottest matchmaking app, I let him convince me to try it.

And Erica Johnson is not actually a bad match–only she doesn’t seem to agree. And then there’s the small matter of her being in the middle of trying to save the team (and me) when the owner’s ex brings to light some, ahem, unsavory accusations about me… and then there’s her enormous and disapproving twin brother…and there’s something about cheese, too.

But if I have my way? Erica will definitely be my match.
Scoring The Keeper’s Sister was a pleasant surprise for this book whore. I have been hit or miss lately with romantic comedies and for me, Scoring The Keeper’s Sister was a hit. I believe this is the first book that I have read from the author, Delancey Stewart, but it will not be the last.

I loved the banter between Erica and Fernando, the added enemy to lovers and friend’s sister drama kept this one interesting and was well balanced. It really is amazing how when one’s eyes are opened that they see more than what they originally believed to be. I hope that that makes sense because it does in my head but then again my head is a little nuts at times, anyways moving on. I laughed out loud more than once while reading and caught myself smiling the more I read.

If you are looking for a new book to read or author to try, give Scoring The Keeper’s Sister a chance, I know I really enjoyed it!
