About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Release Blitz! The Secret To Dating Your Best Friend's Sister By Meghan Quinn

How do you date your best friend's sister? Easy. Step one: Pretend you want her to set you up with someone else. That will bring the two of you closer. Step two: Go on date with lots of random women, proceed to get stupid drunk and talk about your best friend's sister, thus gaining the courage to finally make a move. Step three: Randomly show up at her apartment and confess your love. Women love that, right? It all seemed so simple. A fool-proof three step process that will guarantee the love of you life to fall madly in love with you. At least--that's what I thought was going to happen. But my attempts to win over Julia Westin backfired in more ways than I can count. The thing about Julia? She's smart--really smart--and her wicked gaze cuts through all the charm I've tried slinging her way. She's not interested in games, my gifts, or my stories. She might want me too; but she's not giving in that easy...
The Secrets To Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister was an overall enjoyable read that I liked but wished I had loved. Meghan Quinn is an author who I tend to really enjoy so that makes it hard for me when I don’t love a book. Now don’t get me wrong I liked it but it took me longer than I hoped to really become invested in the book.

I know why that was, Julia, I just didn’t like her for the majority of the book unfortunately and  I hate when this happens because in almost every case I never end up changing my opinion about the character but luckily this time I did warm up to her. Am I saying that Bram was a perfect character? Nope but for some reason he weaseled his way into my heart and I couldn’t help but want him to succeed in his goal. Yes, I did laugh out loud more than once as well as roll my eyes but at the end of the book I am glad that I didn’t give up and set it aside.

While The Secrets To Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister didn’t blow me away I still ended up enjoying it.
