He's a rough. Dirty. Giant. Hair so unruly, and a beard so thick, his friends on the team call him Sasquatch.
The first time Sasquatch lays eyes on Theodora "Teddy" Johnson across the keg at a party one night on Jock Row, she'd been relegated to the sidelines by her jock hungry "friends."
Week-after-week, he watches beautiful but bashful Teddy getting overshadowed, and overlooked. Sasquatch finally broad shoulders his way through the crowd, offering to to be her hairy godmother. But the minute their eyes meet? He's a goner.
Teaching her the RULES for winning a jock will be the easy part. Not falling in love with her is going to be a losing game.
Have you ever started to read a book and fall almost instantly in love with the main characters, and I mean within just a few pages, you know that you already love them? Well, for me, this happened with Kip and Teddy in Jock Rule. Maybe it was the sasquatch reference, maybe it was Kip’s way of not wanting to be the center of attention, maybe it was Teddy’s innocence, and maybe it was a little of everything that had me absolutely fall in love with Jock Rule.
If you are a fan of Sara Ney, then you know that with her books there is always laugh out loud moments thrown in with a bit of angst and emotions. Jock Rule doesn’t disappoint in any way. I needed the laughs that it brought me, when I started reading this my grandma was in the hospital, so finding my escape in Kip and Teddy’s relationship was just what I needed. Now there is a part where I was not happy with Teddy at first, but I could see why she reacted the way she did. No I will not spoil it so don’t ask either.
I love that we are getting different sports in this series than just one. Don’t get me wrong I love when a series is focused on one sport but I am loving the variety that this one is bringing to the table. I already can’t wait for the next book in the series, I love this author and this series!
