I knew he was a dangerous man and he could destroy me if
only he wanted to.
That’s not what he wanted though.
It’s so easy to get lost in the touch of a man who’s
powerful and unattainable.
A man who wants for nothing … except me.
Soft touches and stolen glances made my blood heat and my
heart beat in a way I never knew it could.
Yes, it’s easy to fall into a haze of lust and desire.
But there’s a reason his reputation is one of a heartless
man.
And I should have known better.
If you haven’t read Merciless
you must do so before starting Heartless
because you will be lost if you don’t. Carter and Aria’s story picks up right
where we are left off in Merciless,
and it is even more intense. I really am trying to not spoil anything in this
review and to do that I am keeping this fairly short and sweet.
Things become more interesting and intense between Carter
and Aria, the push the pull the connection between them is changing, some things
for the better, some things for the worse. Aria I must say did wear on my
nerves a bit in this one, and while I can understand her wanting those she
loves to be safe she of all people should no better that if it isn’t Carter who
does it, someone else will. Things are happening that will change the course of
what is happening between them, in the end though will it be work out or not? I
wanted to throw my kindle at the end because it is a cliffhanger and a big one
at that. I don’t mind cliffhangers at all but I was like WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!?!?!
I am anxiously awaiting the next book, I hope the wait isn’t
too long because I really want to know what will happen between them.

Author Bio

Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.
In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
