About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Release Blitz! End Game By Toni Aleo

End Game by Toni Aleo is AVAILABLE NOW!
"Oh man. This.Book. Toni has hit it out of the rink again with this one!"

This is going to be Ryan Justice’s year. It’s his last year of college and his last year as a hockey player for the Bellevue Bullies. He’s making all the plays in preparation for achieving his dream of being drafted into the NHL. This is Sofia Castilleja’s beginning. She is starting her college career as a star member of Bellevue’s brand-new gymnastics team. She’s going to tumble her way to success, first in school and then by realizing her dream of opening her own gym. Ryan and Sofia didn’t see each other coming, but once they meet, they can’t look away. Their dreams are destined to take them in opposite directions. But it doesn’t take them long to realize that waking up to reality together may be better than dreaming alone.
End Game is the latest release in the Bellevue Bullies series and we are finally getting stories for the kids we fell in love with in the Assassins series. First up is Ryan Justice, who if you don’t remember who he is, is Shea’s nephew. I have to admit it took me a while to get into the story, a lot of information is thrown at you in the beginning and it took me a bit to digest it as well as remember whose kids belonged to whom.  With that being said once I got into Ryan and Sophia’s story I liked it.

Ryan’s dream has always been to follow in his uncle’s footsteps and play in the NHL, I mean his aunt owns the Assassins so he should be shoe in for a spot on the team right, or is he? He also has a passion for being a trainer as that is what he is going to school for. I liked Ryan’s character, he was sweet and sexy all rolled into one hockey playing package.

Sophia’s only focus is to train and get through school. She doesn’t need distractions and Ryan Justice is a definite distraction. While it took me a bit too warm up to Sophie’s character once I did though I felt she was perfect for Ryan, and she was. She is sweet, determined and sassy enough to keep Ryan on his toes.

There is some drama within the story that honestly got on my nerves and I know it will be setting up for a book in the future but I think it took away from Ryan and Sophia’s story. I liked the message that comes across in the book and it is one that I think all student athletes should hear and no I won’t tell you what it is because it will spoil the book so you will just have to read it for yourself.  I really am looking forward to more books about the kids of our favorite players.

  About the Author:
My name is Toni Aleo and I’m a total dork.
I am a wife, mother of two and a bulldog, and also a hopeless romantic.
I am the biggest Shea Weber fan ever, and can be found during hockey season with my nose pressed against the Bridgestone Arena’s glass, watching my Nashville Predators play!
When my nose isn’t pressed against the glass, I enjoy going to my husband and son’s hockey games, my daughter’s dance competition, hanging with my best friends, taking pictures, scrapbooking, and reading the latest romance novel.
I have a slight Disney and Harry Potter obsession, I love things that sparkle, I love the color pink, I might have been a Disney Princess in a past life… probably Belle.
… and did I mention I love hockey?
