About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Review Blitz! Rebel Heir By Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward

How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons:
Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check.
Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check.
How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons:
Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season.
Check. Check. Check.
I should add—especially when the guy is your sexy, tattooed God of a boss.
Especially when he not only owns your place of employment but inherited half of the town.
Especially when he’s mean to you.
Or so I thought.
Until one night when he demanded I get in his car so he could drive me home because he didn’t want me walking in the dark.
That was sort of how it all started with Rush.
And then little by little, some of the walls of this hardass man started to come down.
I never expected that the two of us, seemingly opposites from the outside, would grow so close.
I wasn't supposed to fall for the rebel heir, especially when he made it clear he didn’t want to cross the line with me.
As the temperature turned cooler, the nights became hotter. My summer became a lot more interesting—and complicated.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.
Rebel Heir is the first book in the Rush Series Duet. Book Two, Rebel Heart, will release six weeks later on May, 22, 2018.

As with any Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward book I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Rebel Heir. I devoured this book in one setting. From the very beginning until the last sentence Rush and Gia held attention and refused to let go. I already want to read Rebel Heart that is how much I loved this book and these characters because I want more and I want more now.

Gia is sassy, she is sweet and she sure as hell doesn’t take any of Rush’s shit. She gives as good as she gets and I loved her. She is writing her first book and working for Rush to supplement her income.  The first time they meet, well let’s just say it wasn’t the best way to win over your boss but it also puts Rush on his toes. Rush can be sort of an asshole and no one has dared to talk to him the way Gia does, he is intrigued about his feisty new employee but he doesn’t date his employees. There is so much more to the hard exterior to Rush and I loved seeing each layer pulled away. It made me fall in love with him even more, because ladies he is oh so swoon worthy. The chemistry between Gia and Rush is off the charts explosive. You can picture in your mind some of the back and forth banter between these two and visualize the pull between them.

When something happens, your heart breaks because you know these two are perfect for each other. Closer to the end of the book I started to figure out what was happening and when it was confirmed my heart broke because I know the next book is going to start off having me on the edge of my seat. I need Rebel Heart NOW!

Rebel Heir is filled with banter, moments that will have your heart racing, your emotions on overdrive and the angst is well balanced. You can’t help but to fall in love with Rush and Gia because these two are perfect for each other. Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have another winner on their hands with Rebel Heir and this book whore is already impatiently waiting for Rebel Heart!
