Francesca “Frankie”
Archer is the smart mouthed rich girl who worked her way into my heart back in high
school. Our one date turned into a nightmare and we’ve been at each other’s
throat since. Now, she’s a sex club owning hottie who still looks better
in shorts and a tshirt than any woman should.
We need to be civil
to each other as co-best men standing up for our best friend at his
wedding. How hard can that be? But old feelings, a few
cocktails and shared hotel suite later and I’m touching her in ways no other
man has.
In the light of day,
she’s ready to chalk it up to a drunken one night stand, but I’m not ready to
end things just as they are beginning again. Maybe I can convince her, if I can
show her everything I’ve learned since we’ve been apart. I know she’ll look
amazing with the soft ropes crisscrossed across her body.
Mr. Wicked is a
55,000 word second chance, accidental pregnancy romance. It features a
sassy sex club owner, sweet and sexy bondage enthusiast and a heaping
helping of steamy nights.
I usually really love a good enemy to lovers romance add in
that it is a second chance romance and this book whore is usually on cloud
nine. Mr. Wicked is an enemy to lovers second chance romance so I should
have loved it, but I sadly didn’t. I
liked it but Frankie just grated on my nerves more than once and in the end I
wanted to tell John aka Grim that she was so not worth it. I am most likely going to be in the minority
with this review but hey, it happens right.
Frankie and Grim had an amazing date to a dance while they
were in high school, but unfortunately lack of communication, immaturity and
some petty outsiders ruined what could have been. Frankie refused to listen to Grim and
basically was a bitch to him. Grim wasn’t
a saint either but honestly I don’t blame him for how he acted after Frankie
pushed him away. When they are forced to
be nice to each other for their friend’s wedding things begin to change. John wants to try again with Frankie, why I
have no clue, but he does. Frankie once
again acts immature and I think that is why I didn’t like her. I also wasn’t convinced that she could run
her club.
Now I know it sounds like I hated Mr. Wicked but here is the thing, I didn’t. I liked it, I just had some issues with it
but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it.
I think most people will really like Mr.
Wicked.
