Cassidy Jensen
has known true love.
With a wild
heart and a fierce spirit, she lives life passionately; determined to embrace
all it has to offer.
After a
crushing loss she fights to regain her sense of self, attempting to rediscover
the happiness that she knows can exist. However, one bad experience after
another has Cassidy questioning whether lightning can strike twice.
Enter Mason
Alexander. He is everything she doesn't want. Guarded, aloof and a workaholic;
the only emotion he ignites in her is frustration.
When Mason and
Cassidy are thrown together and forced to work with each other, they must learn
to navigate their new relationship. Along the way proving that sometimes what
you want, isn't always what you need.
Dandelion Dreams
had me laughing out loud more than once while reading it. I loved the banter between Cassidy aka Crazy
and Mason aka Sunshine. These two loved
to push each other’s buttons in almost a weird foreplay that just builds and
builds until it explodes.
Cassidy is a smart ass, she has no filter and isn’t afraid
to be her loud crass self. I loved the
way these two were together. When Mason
would call Cassidy Crazy it wasn’t to be mean it was his pet name for her and
it totally fit. Mason was an overworked cranky asshole at times but once you
understand why he is working so hard your heart melts and you can see the guy
who really is amazing. I loved the references from one of my favorite all time
movies, Sweet Home Alabama, and
ironically enough I was watching the movie at the same time I was reading Dandelion Dreams, I like to have back
ground noise while reading and I think it made me love the book even more.
I haven’t read the previous book but I am going to as soon
as I am able because I have a feeling that this author is going to become one
of my go to authors if she keeps writing the way she is. Dandelion
Dreams was a much-needed laugh and escape during a really bad couple of
days, now I can’t wait for spring to come so that I pick some dandelions and
make wishes, although my husband may not be thrilled but oh well he wouldn’t
understand. Make sure you have this on
your TBR lists, you won’t be disappointed.
