Mikhail is the
second book in the series and I will be honest it took me a bit to really get
into it. I had loved the previous book
so I was extremely excited to start Mikhail and while it was a good read I
think somewhere along the line it started to have so much going on it took away
from the relationship between Mikhail and Piper. For me that was what made me not love this
one as much. I wanted that romance
between them to shine, especially when we learn of what happened to Mikhail in
his past.
Paranormal romance is my all-time favorite genre, and I love
shifter romances. While this one didn’t
live up to my expectations it still was overall an enjoyable read and has me
looking forward to the next book.
