I never looked back after skipping out on my own wedding, even if it did leave me estranged from most of my family. Eight years later, I have the life I’ve always wanted. As an advertising account executive, my world is damn near perfect.
Until I come face-to-face with my past. With the man I once loved. The man who holds my future in his hands. The man who’s hell-bent on getting even with me for leaving him at the altar.
Even with all the unfinished business between us, I still love Knox Montgomery. The only problem?
He loves me…KNOT.
When I read a book from RC Boldt I am used to having some extremely hilarious moments so while I was once again expecting that with He Loves Me…Knot, what it was, was a sweet second chance romance that I really enjoyed. I mean a runaway bride and the groom she left at the altar who ends up being her boss. Are you interested yet? Well I know I was hooked quickly with this one. I love second chance romances, they are some of my favorites to read about but I liked the added twist of the runaway bride and boss.
You know that emotions are going to play a large role in this one and they did, but I also believe that when two people are meant to be together that even past hurts can be overcome. Now does that happen with Knox and Emma? Well you will just have to wait and find out for yourself, but just remember people make mistakes, sometimes misunderstandings happened and how one would go about the situation now is different than in in moment. That really is what this one is about, in my opinion.
While the title may be He Loves Me…Knot, this book whore loved this book and easily can say it should be read by anyone looking for a second chance romance.
