About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Blog Tour! The Outliers By T.M. Frazier

OUTLIERSBLOGTOUR.jpg

The Outliers, the stunning conclusion to The Outskirts Duet by T.M. Frazier is available NOW!

The Outliers cover
Sensual. Heartbreaking. Passionate. Overwhelming. Maddening.

That’s the love Finn and I share.
It's the kind you can never recover from.
The kind you never WANT to recover from.
That's why we'll do everything and anything to protect it.
When my past chases me all the way to Outskirts, we have to make a choice.
Let the lies destroy our chance at future together or...bury them deep in the swamp where they belong.
Got a shovel?

I am sitting here trying to type this review for The Outliers and I’ll be honest, I am torn on how I felt.  I LOVED the first book and was so excited to start The Outliers when it hit my kindle.  While I liked it and liked how it immediately picked up where The Outskirts left off and that we get right back into Sawyer and Finn’s story, it felt like something was missing.  It just didn’t suck me in the way The Outskirts did, I felt like it wasn’t as gripping as the first book was.  I got bored and distracted at times, and I don’t think I have ever once said that about a T.M. Frazier book so that is what makes this review not only difficult to write but in a sense painful as well.

The things that happen in this book are eye opening, painful at times and makes some have more questions than answers about what we should have faith in.  Finn and Sawyer’s relationship almost in a way gets pushed aside because of all that happens.  Which is a shame because what they share is in one sense innocent because of Sawyer, emotional because of Finn’s past, and healing because of how they heal each other.  I wish we would have had less of the drama with Richard and more focus on Sawyer’s relationships with Finn, Critter and the others.

Overall while I enjoyed this one, I wish I would have loved it like I did the previous book.  I am still and always will be a huge T.M. Frazier fan and will continue to read her books.   I look forward to what the Ms. Frazier has in store for us in the future.

DUETCOMPLETE1

My eyes went to her throat. I saw her pulse quicken beneath her smooth skin. She twisted her pouty pink lips. Her hesitation only lasted a second before she wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me down closer so that the tips of our noses touched. Her lips feathered against mine. "Fuck me, Finn." "Yes," I growled. I may have been the one who told her to say those words but hearing them out of her mouth caused the raging inferno of lust within me to explode beyond control. I had a feeling I'd be hearing those words on repeat in my head for the rest of my life. Fuck me, Finn. I lifted her up onto the nearest table and pushed her onto her back. I tore her panties off in one tug and while I devoured her with my eyes, I somehow managed to concentrate enough to unbuckle my belt and push my jeans down over my ass, freeing my throbbing cock. Sawyer moaned when I parted her legs, stepping between them. The sound was pure fucking heaven. Our tongues danced while we drank each other in. I savored the way her body felt against mine. Hard against soft. I dug my fingers into the flesh of her perfectly round ass before moving them to her pussy where I parted her warm wet folds and strummed her swollen clit because Sawyer was my instrument of choice and only I knew how to play her to perfection. The look on Sawyer's face when I inserted a finger inside of her was as if I'd just given her a drug. She was high on the pleasure. Her lids were heavy. Her pupils large and dark. I was dead set on making sure I wrung every bit of pleasure from her gorgeous body and I gave her exactly what she’d asked me for.
