About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Review! After I Fall By Jessica Scott

Her entire life has been a lie. Being with Eli is the most honest thing she’s ever done.

Parker Hauser lives the perfect life and knows exactly where she's been and where she's going. Parker has to be perfect. Perfect grades, perfect body, perfect life.

Until she meets Eli Winter.

Eli throws her entire life into chaos when he denies her the one thing she wants from him.

One chance encounter stokes her desire for the man who refused to touch her and left her questioning everything.

When Parker tries to help his new business, the spotlight turns on Eli's military record. And sins from the war he's tried to forget may come back to destroy them both.

This one was a slight rollercoaster of emotion for me. Parker in a walking contradiction to start with. She hates her fiancé but he is her only real connection to her father so she bows to both of them. Yet she isn't afraid to be all sassy and in your face with Eli and his friends. She has real fears of total rejection because that's all she's ever know since her moms death. And I felt for her since I've had some of those same fears. What if I fall and nobody's there to catch me. Can I do it alone. It's real fear that a lot of people go through. Eli, oh how I loved him. He has such a huge heart. He is loyal and someone whom you want at your back. Or in your bed *cough*. He cares for everyone else and doesn't think he deserves the same. That is until Miss sassy pants Parker comes along. Their struggle with each other is very real. I loved how they didn't just leap first but fell together. Plus I so loved Deacon and Kelsey. So can't wait for more.
