I was raised by the Devil himself.
Formed into a man that was unreachable.
I went from the boy with bruises to the man with a trigger.
Killing is the only thing the calms the itch.
The demons inside were a constant battle.
…until she changed everything.
When you spend most of your time
in the dark, is it smart to step into the light?
It is no secret that I love a good MC romance and if it is
dark as well, well then that makes it even better. Trigger
is the first book in the Devil’s Reach
series and it was a pretty good start to the series. It took me a bit to really get into it but once
I did I didn’t want to put it down. The
dynamic and strength of the relationships of not only Trigger and Tess but all
the members of the MC was strong, even when they have a mole they are not to be
messed with. From the start you know
that this is going to be a dark book and it really is.
Trigger is an asshole.
There is no nice way to describe him, but he is that way because of how
he was raised. He fights and kills
without second thought and nothing has ever truly settled him until Tess,
although she can work him up at the same time but for him, she makes him
feel. Both are broken, both have pasts
that they don’t want to share but can two broken people fix each other? I do want to punch Trigger or maybe shoot him
in the ass for what he does, because now we have to wait to find out what
happens. Yes there is a cliffhanger and
I have a feeling that when we get the next book it is going to start off even
darker possibly than this one did.
I can’t wait to find out what happens so I hope there isn’t
too long of a wait to find out the rest of Trigger and Tess’ story. I must also point out that I love how Ms.
Drake mentions not only one of my favorite book boyfriends but has Tess
comparing him to Trigger. This is a must
read for any dark MC romance fan and needs to be on your TBR lists for sure.
