In Nashville, country stars are a dime a dozen.
I swore I’d never get caught up with one, but Boone Thrasher made a liar out of me.
I said I’d never put my heart on the line, but he didn’t ask before he stole it.
Now we’re facing my worst fears, and we'll see if this country boy is tough enough to see it through.
Girls like me don’t get happily ever afters… but maybe he’ll prove that wrong too.
Excuse me a moment while I go and make a wardrobe change because Real Sexy is exactly that, real sexy. After the way Real Dirty ended I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one and my oh my, this one was filled with suspense, angst, emotions, secrets and most importantly of all love.
Boone will melt your heart while melting your panties at the same time, he may have that bad boy reputation but he is anything but, especially when it comes to Ripley. I loved how he was with her, the way he showed her she meant something to him, the support he gave her when she needed it and I am not referring to money I am talking about emotional support, encouragement, and love and believing in what they shared.
I really felt for Ripley. There was more than one occasion while reading this that it stirred memories and feelings up about my own personal disappointments in life, set backs, or crushed hopes and dreams. I think at some point we have all felt that way in our lives, even if it is just for a short time, but Ms. March really connected with me, my past and my emotions during these scenes. Ripley deserves Boone in her life, she deserves the love he has for her, she deserves her own happiness, and does she get that in the end? Well duh you will have to read the book to know but here is a hint, you will love what you read.
This duet may very well be Ms. March’s best work yet. The emotions, the sexiness, the love comes through perfectly in the story. Boone and Ripley will steal a part of your heart and turn it into a country song for sure! Real Sexy is a must read!
I have everything a guy could want—a new single burning up the charts, more money than a simple country boy could spend, and a woman I’m planning to marry. Until she doesn’t show up for my proposal. The life I thought was so perfect, isn’t. The guy who thought he had everything, doesn’t. I’ve got my heart on lockdown, but life sends me straight into the path of a mouthy bartender who puts me in my place. Now the only place I want to put her is under me. I thought I was done with love, but maybe I’m just getting started.
