About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Release Blitz! Love Me In The Dark By Mia Asher

Two strangers in Paris ...
One passionate, earth-shattering kiss.

He was the artist upstairs
with the tantalizing smile and laughing eyes.

He was the devil inviting me to sin,
seducing me to dance in the bright moonlight.

He was desire and need.

When he touched me, my body sang--
my soul came alive.

But I belonged to another man,
and he didn't want to let me go.

Have you ever just known before you start a book that it will totally consume you, your thoughts, and just have you so enthralled that hours pass by and before you know it you have completely devoured the book and you can’t stop thinking about it?  Well that is exactly what happened when I read Love Me In The Dark

From the very start the heartbreaking moments when we first meet Sebastian, I instantly felt for him and what happened had me in tears.  Fast forward to when we begin to get Valentina’s story you just knew that things were only going to become more emotional and I was right.  I also had the feeling that we weren’t getting the full picture about Valentina and her husband’s relationship and boy was I right but I must say that I sure as hell didn’t see a couple of things coming and that is putting it mildly.  As someone who has been cheated on, my heart went out to Valentina and could understand her feelings and then her reasoning for staying in Paris.  The chemistry between her and Sebastian was more than just sexual; it was almost as if fate had them cross paths when they did for a reason.  Now I must admit I wanted to shake Valentina at one point and scream in her face asking “are you really this stupid, why would you do that?” but sadly I think she learned for herself in one of the worst ways possible.

Yes this is a love triangle but in a way it’s not, I know that might not make sense but I just didn’t think of it that way.  It is heartbreaking, it is emotional, it is at times romantic but overall what Love Me In The Dark is, is a phenomenal book that I will be keeping close to my heart for a long time to come.  Mia Asher has cemented herself on my must read authors list with Love Me In The Dark and I don’t see her being off of there anytime in the near future.

Author Bio

I'm a writer, a hopeless romantic, a wanderer, a dreamer, a cynic, and a believer. And, I might be a bit crazy - but who isn't?

I believe in happy endings however I know that not everyone is lucky enough to get one, but such is life. I think fine lines exist to be pushed and possibly crossed.
