Disgrace: the condition of one fallen from grace.
She is my forbidden fruit. The one temptation I cannot resist.
The first night…
I rescued her from an attack in the seedy underground of New York City.
The second night…
She told me the first of many lies.
She thinks she can keep me out of her world, but she’s in over her head. Watching her, being near her, it gives breath to something dark inside me. Something primal and forbidden. Forbidden to me.
Because in six months, I’ll be an ordained priest.
And she complicates things.
She thinks she is my disgrace. Truth is, my fall had begun the moment I’d laid eyes on her.

After reading
Dishonorable I wanted Damon and Lina’s story something fierce so I was
super excited to start Disgraced especially
after loving Dishonorable as much as
I did. I hate to say this but for me Disgraced just didn’t live up to the
expectations that I had set for myself.
It was still a good book but I don’t think it had the impact that Dishonorable had.
I wanted to believe in connection between Damon and Lina but
it felt forced at times, and more than once I got bored and sat this down to do
other things. Maybe this is one of those
it’s me not the book scenarios because I did like it I just didn’t love it like
I had hoped I would. Natasha Knight is a
talented writer and has drawn me into her stories more than once so I will
continue to read her books. As always
form your own opinions, maybe I just wasn’t in the mood to read this genre when
I began, but don’t let me deter you from wanting to read this, you may love it.
