While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Release Boost & Review! Hot As Puck By Lili Vanente

The NHL's biggest bad boy is about to fall for the virgin next door…

I am the world’s biggest dating failure. We’re talking my last date went home with our waitress kind of failure.

But I have an ace in the back pocket of my mom jeans—my sexy-as-sin best friend, NHL superstar forward, Justin Cruise.

Justin owes me favors dating back to seventh grade, long before he became a hotshot with a world famous…stick. So in return for my undying platonic loyalty, all I want is an easy-peasy crash course on how to be a sex goddess.

How hard can it be?

I have never been so hard in my life.

The things I want to do to my sweet, kindergarten-teaching, mitten-crocheting best friend Libby Collins are ten different kinds of wrong. Maybe twenty.

But I’m a firm believer in teaching by example, and by the end of our first lesson, we’ve graduated to a hands on approach to her sexual education: my hands all over her, her hands all over me, and her hot mouth melting beneath mine as I prove to her there isn’t a damned thing wrong with the way she kisses.

Give me a month, and I’ll transform Libby from wall flower to wall banger, and ensure she’s confident enough to seduce any guy she wants.

Problem is… the only guy I want her seducing is me.

Hot as Puck is a sexy, flirty, friends-to-lovers Standalone romantic comedy from USA Today Bestseller Lili Valente.

OMG Hot As Puck is funny as puck, what you thought I was going somewhere else with that one didn’t you?  I know you did because let’s face it this is me we are talking about.  Anyways I am just sitting here typing this review  giggling because I am remembering all the things that I loved about this one and I am picturing a certain sexy hockey player doing his favorite hobby and the name of his charity is priceless!  Yes I am not giving you those details for a reason; duh you have to read them for yourself.  I needed the laughs and smiles that Hot As Puck provided me, after a string of not so good reads or ones I didn’t finish this was exactly what this book whore needed.  This is the classic best friend makes you start seeing them in a new level when they come to you for sex help romance and I plan on reading it more than once.

Justin, well let’s just say he was entertaining to put it mildly, his thoughts and reactions at times were priceless.  I also must agree with his carb comment at the beginning of the book because that is so true!  Ok sorry back to my review but I can’t help giving you hints without giving spoilers away because Justin is just a hero that I couldn’t help but love.  Libby she was sweet, maybe a little awkward at times, but a character that was not only likable but relatable and the kind of person you want to know in real life.  The connection between Libby and Justin wasn’t just sexual or best friends, it was something more, something almost beautiful.

Hot As Puck is a book that I recommend if you are looking for a funny, friends to lovers romance that will keep you smiling, laughing and wanting more of Libby and Justin when you are finished.  A must read!

Author Bio

U.S.A. Today Bestselling author Lili Valente has slept under the stars in Greece, eaten dinner at midnight with French men who couldn’t be trusted to keep their mouths on their food, and walked alone through Munich’s red light district after dark and lived to tell the tale.

These days you can find her writing in a tent beside the sea, drinking coconut water and thinking delightfully dirty thoughts.
