I want to prove my worth, show them what I have.
I may be flawed; we all are.
But I'm smart, driven, and ready to take on the world.
No one needs to know the rest.
I wasn't counting on him, couldn't imagine someone like him coming into my life.
The blue eyes, the chiseled body, the man I can't resist.
Truthfully, I have no plans of ever resisting him.
He has the carefree, playboy life he wants,
The one he created and refuses to give up.
But he didn't count on me waltzing in and changing everything.
Gray can't deny his passion for me—all parts of me,
Even the truth I try to bury—the flaws he knows I'm hiding.
And trust me, he's imperfect too.
But sometimes, we need more than love—more than we can give.
First off I need to comment that this review is based on the updated version, I have not read the previous one so I am unable to comment on the quality or changes of the previous version.
Fuck I need a drink or let’s be realistic here a bottle or two of wine or maybe vodka after reading Bound and I am not really saying that it is a good thing that I need to drink that much after a book, or I guess I should say this book. I am truly at a loss for what to say. Shocking I know, but it’s true. Here is the thing. I don’t mind cheating in a book to an extent, like in real life, relationships in a romance novel aren’t always unicorns and rainbows all the time. For some reason though, and I just don’t know exactly why this, maybe it is because I felt so many emotions that I felt as I was living it myself, or maybe it is because I was in a mood when I read Bound, but it did bother me after a while. Gray and Annie will test your emotions, make you scream in frustration and throw your kindle in aggravation.
With that being said do I want to read the next book? Hell yes I do. While I had issues this book destroyed my emotions and now I need to find out if they will be repaired or not. Now where is that wine?
