About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Blog Tour! Ride Hard By Laura Kaye

Ride Hard - Review Tour banner

From New York Times Bestselling author Laura Kaye, comes the first steamy standalone in her Raven Riders Series, RIDE HARD! A sexy romantic suspense, you might’ve first met the Ravens in the Hard Ink world, but this series about a different kind of a motorcycle club with a protective mission stands on its own and is even sexier, edgier, and grittier! The Raven Riders Series takes you on a new adventure and kicks it into overdrive!

RIDE HARD - cover
Brotherhood. Club. Family.
They live and ride by their own rules.
These are the Raven Riders…
Raven Riders Motorcycle Club President Dare Kenyon rides hard and values loyalty above all else. He’ll do anything to protect the brotherhood of bikers—the only family he’s got—as well as those who can’t defend themselves. So when mistrustful Haven Randall lands on the club’s doorstep scared that she’s being hunted, Dare takes her in, swears to keep her safe, and pushes to learn the secrets overshadowing her pretty smile.
Haven fled from years of abuse at the hands of her criminal father and is suspicious of any man’s promises, including those of the darkly sexy and overwhelmingly intense Ravens’ leader. But as the powerful attraction between them flares to life, Dare pushes her boundaries and tempts her to want things she never thought she could.
The past never dies without a fight, but Dare Kenyon’s never backed down before…

It appears that I am back on an MC kick and I am loving it.  Obviously I enjoy a huge variety of romances, I am a book whore after all but there is just something about an MC romance that I can’t help but be attracted to, maybe it’s the sense of family, maybe it is the down and dirty alpha males who are bikers, maybe it’s that edge of danger that turns me on. I am not really sure what it is but for each series it’s a combination of all those things combined and Laura Kaye’s Ride Hard is the first book in the Raven Riders series and it doesn’t disappoint!  I was worried that it might have some of those first book in a series issues but I shouldn’t have I loved it and am already hooked.

Dare and Haven the chemistry between these two is undeniably hot.  There is something about these two that even now, typing this review has me smiling I just enjoyed them both so much.  Dare and Haven balance each other out and even if to most people they look like they may not work, they do and they work well.

Ride Hard is one I can easily say that I recommend and the start of a series that this book whore already wants more of, go grab it today!
