He winks. “I already told you I like you.”
“I like you, too. So do you want to make it official and be my girlfriend?”
He flashes me a toothy grin. “I thought you’d never ask.”
My smile matches his. “I’d love to.”
“I’m glad.”
He clears his throat. “Sorry. I’m not usually this mushy.” He feels his forehead. “I must be coming down with something.”
I laugh. “You totally are. Or maybe some woman is making you become a softie.”
He chuckles. “I’m totally blaming you if the guys give me shit.”
“So, are you going to take me on dates and shit?”
“Don’t you know this is, like, our third date? Like, officially and shit.”
“Damn. The guys are so going to give it you,” I tease. The food arrives and we start to eat.
“Well, since you’re my girlfriend and shit, my family gets together every Sunday evening for dinner. You game for the Fascinelli family?”
I take a sip of my tea before answering. “I’d love to. However, your mom already invited me when I saw her earlier.”
