About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Release Blitz! Wedding Wars By Kat T. Masen

Drew
Get down on one knee.
Profess my love.
Ask her to marry me.
Simple…right?

Zoey
He doesn’t understand that planning a wedding is a big deal. I’m not a Bridezilla—give me a break. I just know what I want, and everything has to be perfect. After all, I am marrying my Mr. Right.
Aren’t I?

From roomies to lovers, it was an easy transition for Zoey and Drew. It’s only natural that marriage was the next step. Between Drew’s hectic work schedule and Zoey’s obsession with planning the perfect wedding, neither of them expected it to be this hard.

And the only way they knew how to communicate: fight until they’ve started a war.

Will Zoey and Drew manage to set aside their differences and make it to the altar, or is this the end for the perfectly mismatched couple?

Wedding Wars by Kat T. Madsen is a follow up novella to her book, Roomie Wars. Wedding Wars is not a standalone and Roomie Wars should definitely be read first in order to fully enjoy this novella. That being said, I enjoyed this but didn’t love it as much as I loved Roomie Wars.

Wedding Wars picks up right where Roomie Wars left off. Our couple had gotten engaged and were going to live happily ever after-yay! But then Wedding Wars happened.

Wedding Wars gave me much more of an emotional rollercoaster than I anticipated. There was definitely more tension-which I can understand, I mean, planning a wedding is stressful for some, right? But I didn’t anticipate some of the struggles our characters faced.

This novella had the same sense of humor and writing style as the first, which was the saving grace for me. If you enjoyed Roomie Wars I would say give this novella a shot. It wasn’t quite what I expected but I enjoyed catching up with Drew and Zoey.

If you have not read Roomie Wars you must do so before starting Wedding Wars because Wedding Wars does pick up where we were left off with Roomie Wars.  I am sort of up in the air with my thoughts on this one.  I liked it but I just didn’t love it.

Something was off; I don’t know if it was.  There is angst; there are emotions all over the place so I should have absolutely loved it because I love that type of book.  I loved Zoey and Derrick in the previous book, but after a while I was just like blah and will it ever just end?  I really do believe it is my mood in this case because it had all the potential of being one that I would normally have loved but for some reason this time just didn’t work as well for me.  While I may not have loved it I still recommend not only this but the previous book as well because I know a lot will love it.
