The BILLIONAIRES AFTER DARK series is part of the LOVE IN BLOOM big family romance collection. Each book may be read as a stand-alone novel, or as part of the series.

Bad Boys After Dark-Dylan is not my first book from Melissa Foster but it proves why I keep coming back to this author over and over. This book, while second in a series, can be read and enjoyed as a standalone. If you enjoy strong characters, a well written, fun and sexy story, look no further than this book.

I was absolutely hooked from the start of this book. I love sports novels and the fact that our heroine is a sports agent was a nice little bonus for me. It’s not a profession I find myself reading about often-most of the time the agents are secondary characters if they’re mentioned at all. The heat between our main characters-from the first chapter-had me fanning myself as I read.

Tiffany has a bit of a relationship phobia, and there were times I wanted to shake her for it BUT I did understand where she was coming from. She’s such a smart and sassy heroine, you can’t help but like her and feel for her. Watching her grow in her relationship with Dylan was incredibly satisfying.

Dylan. Oh my word, Dylan. A bad boy who is ready to settle down with just one woman? Sign me up, please! He was hot, sexy and man did he make me swoon. Dylan might be my favorite Melissa Foster hero yet-and she has set the bar high with her previous heroes!

I love how Melissa Foster incorporates her secondary characters in her books. They never distract from the main couple and I love the sense of community that they bring. You feel like you’re part of the gang with these characters and I appreciate that!

If you like bad boys with a heart of gold, and sassy, smart heroines you should really check out this book. I really enjoyed it and happily recommend it.

I enjoyed this book. I thought the characters were real, and they were well developed.

Tiffany is a sports agent who is fully engaged with her the point where it consumes almost every waking hour (and likely has woken her in the middle of the night more than once). She needs to learn the balance of having someone in her life while also being able to have her career.

Dylan owns a bar, is hit on by women on a nightly basis, and is looking for one woman to settle down with. One who he can build a life with.

Tiffany is convinced that her crazy life as a sports agent and the one Dylan wants, with a woman who will commit to him, are too much of a conflict for them to ever work out. And more than once she expects her life and commitments to end the relationship that they were building.

The writing was strong overall, but there were parts of the story where I thought the narrative dragged a little bit, that there were a couple of times where something not as important got more time than something that was of more importance.

Overall, I do recommend this book.
