About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

ARC Review! Seaside Whispers by Melissa Foster

Having a mad crush on her boss's son, Matt Lacroux--an intriguing mix of proper gentleman and flirtatious bad boy--is probably not the smartest idea for single mother Mira Savage. Especially when the company, and her job, is already on shaky ground. But as a Princeton professor, Matt's life is hours away from Mira's home on Cape Cod, keeping him safely in the fantasy-only zone. And as a single mother to six-year-old Hagen, with a floundering company to save, fantasies are all she has time for.

With hopes of becoming dean off the table, and too many months of longing for a woman who lived too far away to pursue, Matt's publishing contract couldn't have come at a better time. He heads home to Cape Cod on a brief sabbatical, intent on starting his book, and finally getting his arms around sweet, seductive Mira.

A surprise encounter leads to white-hot passions and midnight confessions. The more time Matt and Mira spend together, the deeper their relationship grows, and the love and attention Matt showers on Hagen is more than she has ever dreamed of. But Matt's sabbatical is only temporary, and Mira's not saving his father's company so she can leave it behind. Will their whispers of love be enough for one of them to change their life forever?

"You can always rely on Melissa Foster to deliver a story that's fresh, emotional and entertaining. Make sure you have all night, because once you start you won't want to stop reading. Every book's a winner!" New York Times Bestselling Author Brenda Novak

"With her wonderful characters and resonating emotions, Melissa Foster is a must-read author!" New York Times Bestseller Julie Kenner

"Like Nora Roberts, Melissa Foster has captivated me with her fantastic, sexy, romantic stories." K. Winning

Melissa Foster’s books always leave me with a smile on my face. The sense of community she writes into her books while still managing to focus on the main couple’s story gets me every time. Seaside Whispers is part of a series but can absolutely be read as a standalone.

I swooned HARD for this book. Matt is a professor who returns to his hometown on sabbatical, trying to figure out what exactly he wants to do with his life. His work is solid but he isn’t feeling as whole as he wants to feel. Returning home to write, and help prepare for his brother’s joint wedding provides a good cover for something else he wants-to reconnect with Mira.

Mira is a single mom who works for Matt’s dad. I positively adore her son. Hagen is smart, inquisitive and just an adorable little boy. Authors can sometimes have problems writing kids but Melissa Foster is not one of those people! I felt for Mira as she struggled with giving in to her feelings for Matt but man did he prove to be just irresistible.

I LOVED the way these three came together as a family. It truly warmed my heart to read it. I love the heart that Melissa Foster gives her books. The way she writes makes you feel like you’re right there watching her characters as they go on their journey. This book made me swoon so very hard for Matt and cheer for our trio as they found their way with each other. I highly recommend giving this a read!
