About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

ARC Review! Fighting For His Wife by Jules Bennett

Bestselling Author Jules Bennett invites readers into Barefoot Bay where two special people are destined to find their happily ever after.

She is determined to save him…

Escaping to Barefoot Bay was the only way Cara Prescott knew to cope with the devastating news that could end her marriage. Maybe marrying after a whirlwind affair had been a mistake…at least, that’s the excuse she’s giving her husband to justify setting him free.

He is determined to save their marriage…

Former soldier Tucker Prescott has no clue what sent his wife running back to Barefoot Bay, but he’s not letting her go that easy. He’s never given up on anything and he certainly isn’t starting with the one person who completes him. Cara Prescott is about to discover that her husband is a stronger man than she ever knew…because he’s not about to let her carry this burden alone.
Jules Bennett is a favorite author of mine and each book I read of hers just reminds me why..

This is a shorter book, but while it may not be as long as others, it definitely isn't short on emotion. Tuck and Cara are married after a whirlwind romance and then, well, life happens and Cara decides that Tuck will be better off without her. Tuck disagrees. Vehemently.

And, the book is exactly what the title implies...Tuck pulling out all the stops to convince his wife to stay in the marriage and make it work.

There were a lot of reasons I thought it made sense...she went to somewhere that she would to think, she wasn't there for months before Tuck followed her. The reason she left was not insurmountable...but would give anyone in her position pause. The reader is given enough info to be able to relate to their characters...but not too much that it drags down the story.

I definitely enjoyed and recommend this book!
