About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Review! Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven

When Cassie Taylor met Ethan Holt at acting school, sparks flew. She was the good girl actress. He was the bad boy about campus. But one fated casting choice for Romeo and Juliet changed it all. Like the characters they were playing, Cassie and Ethan's romance seemed destined. Until he broke her heart and betrayed her trust. Now the A-list heartthrob is back in her life and turning her world around. One touch at a time.

Cast as romantic leads once again, they're forced to confront raw memories of the heartbreaking lows and pulse-pounding highs of their secret college affair. But they'll also discover that people who rub each other the wrong way often make the best sparks

So, yeah, that happened. All of that happened. And, telling too much about this is full of spoilers, and I don't want to do that to you.

Oh, Ethan. You are breaking my heart AND driving me to drink. I am not sure what I even want to say to you, Ethan. You are so damaged...and yet, not as much as you think. And you write really amazing emails...

This book is SO well written, you spend half of it with your heart in your throat, the other half with tears in your eyes. You so want Ethan to be able to completely fall in love with Cassie, and how much he struggles is so tough to watch. The characters are so relateable, that even though you are screaming at them, you understand them too.

The juxtaposition of the 6 years ago relationship that they had, and the one now, is amazing. In some ways, it makes the angst worse...but in others, it gives an amazing pay off, as learning their past makes their future so much more compelling.

That cliffhanger. Trust me, buy the 2nd one, have it waiting. You will NOT want to wait to get to the rest of this story.
