About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

ARC Review! Six By K.I. Lynn

I had a one-night stand. It wasn’t my first, but it would be my last.
A gun to the head.
A trained killer.
A deadly conspiracy.
Kidnapped and on the run, my life and death is in the hands of a sadist captor who happens to be my one-night stand. Armed with countless weapons, money, and new identities, the man I call Six drags me around the world.
The manhunt is on and Six is the next target. Can we find out who is killing off the Cleaners before they find us?
Two down, seven to go.
When it’s all over he’ll finish the job that dropped him into my life, and end it.
Stockholm Syndrome meets bucket list, and the question of what would you do to live before you died. The questions aren’t always answered in black and white. Gray becomes the norm as my morals are tested.
Death is a tragedy, and I’ll do anything to stay alive.
Are you ready for the last ride of your life? Six has a gun to your head—what would you do?
This isn’t a love story.
It’s a death story.

If you think you are picking up a romance book with Six, you’re not.  If you think you are just picking up another dark romance, think again.  If you think you know what’s going to happen, think again because Six will keep you on the edge of your seat.  Six does have some trigger warning so just go in knowing that unicorns flowers and sunshine are not the norm for this book, more like guns, death threats, and Stockholm Syndrome.

I am trying so hard to not give anything away.  So much happens in Six, and this is a long book, normally I can read a book in a day, two tops, but it took three to read Six and guess what I didn’t get bored or think it dragged on, it was perfect.  The story of Six and Paisley/Lacey needs to be told at the pace it was, trust me at times it is very erotic and sexy and then moments later the suspense, danger, and action, then the next it turns dark only to repeat the cycle all over again.  Six and Lacey will slowly work their way into your heart, you will wonder if death is at the door on the next page or if you will have yet another sex scene that will make you want to be in Lacey’s place.

I am going to end this review with this.  Hours later after finishing my mind keeps going back to Six.  I want more; hell to be honest I NEED more.  I am not sure if Ms. Lynn will do another book or not but if she does, you can guarantee that this book whore will not only be reading it but will screaming for everyone to read it as well!
