Release Blitz & Author Interview! This One Moment By Stina Lindenblatt

Fame, fortune, and stadiums full of screaming fans are right around the corner for the rock band at the heart of Stina Lindenblatt’s steamy, intense Pushing Limits series. But it’s an epic love affair that steals the show in this opening act.

When Nolan Kincaid skipped town to chase the music career of his dreams, he knew he wouldn’t miss the reminders of his broken family—he wasn’t so sure he could forget the girl he left behind. Now his band is touring nonstop, the recording sessions go all night, and the groupies are crazed. But when he hears that Hailey Wilkins is in trouble, he drops everything.

Hailey thought she’d missed her chance with Nolan. Five years ago, the moment she realized she loved him was the moment he decided to leave. Now, when a brutal assault lands her in the ICU, Nolan flies straight to her bedside, acting like nothing’s changed. What’s a rock star like him doing, canceling shows and risking his record deal, just to nurse an old friend back to health? And why should Hailey believe he’ll stay this time?

With her attacker still at large, Nolan’s ready to rise to the occasion. He knows he let Hailey down once before, but he’s ready to give her everything, heart and soul—and he’ll fight for the chance to prove it.

Hey everyone Janna here, today we are talking to Stina Lindenblatt.  She is a new author to this book whore so let’s get to know her shall we?  Thanks for talking with me today.
Janna:  Tell us a little about yourself and about your book.
Hi Janna! I’m orginally from England, but Canada is now my home. This means I have a mixed up accent. It’s almost a game for some people to guess where I’m from.
I played the electric bass while in university and dreamed of becoming a rock star. Obviously that never happen. So I guess This One Moment is my attempt to make up for that. LOL
Janna:  What inspired you to write This One Moment?
The initial inspiration came from a photo on Pinterest. It was of a hot guy with his shirt open and an acoustic guitar perched on his shoulder. As soon as I saw the photo, I knew I had to write his story.
Janna: Is this part of a series, or do you plan to write any series books?
This One Moment is the first book in the Pushing Limits series, which is also the name of the rock band. Jared Leigh, the guitarist, is the hero for the next book. My Song For You releases September 6th.
Janna:  What scenes were the easiest for you to write and which were the hardest?
I would say the sex scenes for both parts of the question. They’re easy to write, but they’re also hard because you want to make them fresh. You don’t want the reader to feel like she just read that scene in five other books.
Janna:  Who or what inspired the story?
The inspiration for part of the story line came from a newspaper article dealing with a court case that was going on in my province. I started asking ‘what if’ questions about it and the idea for This One Moment was born.
Janna:  Who is/are your favorite author(s)?
Christina Lee, Jill Shalvis, Emma Chase, Elle Kennedy (the list could go on and on and on)
Janna:  What is your favorite book or series?
The Thoughtless series by S.C. Stephens. The ones where Kellan Kyle is the hero. I might have read the first book at least five times (and Effortless, Reckless, and Thoughtful several times each too).
Janna: What advice do you have to new authors or those who are scared to write that very first book?
Just do it! And don’t give up. A lot of writers start writing a book but never finish it. Often they get bored of the story and start a shiny new project. But also don’t expect the first book to be perfect. Each book is a learning experience. I wrote about five novels (all YA) before I sold my first one. It just happened to be the first non-YA book that I wrote. I’ve been landing book deals ever since. So I guess my second piece of advice is don’t be afraid to try a different genre if you don’t have success with the one you’re writing. Maybe it’s not the right genre for you after all.
Janna:  Where can readers get in contact with you?

Website (readers can email me from there):
Quickie Questions-
White wine or red? white
Coffee or tea? Neither. I’m not a fan of hot drinks…with the exception of hot chocolate and Kahula. Yum!
Sleep in or get up early? I get up every morning at 5 am to write.
Laptop or desktop for writing? Both…but mostly desktop. Laptop if on vacation.
Do you like to cook?  Do you have a favorite food? My husband does the cooking, but I do make a mean spinach and grilled cheese sandwich. It’s my comfort food.
Favorite music?
Usually I listen to the local pop music station while driving. It’s my kids’ favorite station. I also love listening to Bon Jovi.
Thank you so much for doing this Interview, Stina. I can’t wait to read more from you in the future!
