About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Release Blitz! Deliverance By L.A. Cotton & Jenny Siegel

Joy Mathers has spent the last three years numb. From her past, her present, and her inevitable future. She was supposed to escape the deadbeat town of Chancing, but now it’s her prison, and she couldn’t leave…even if she wanted to.

For the last two years, Dawson Spencer has been holed up in some of the worst corners of the world. He's seen things no man should ever see, and thought nothing could ever shock him. Until he returns to Chancing and discovers everything has changed in the town he once called home.

He thought Joy was away pursuing her dreams. She thought Dawson was never coming back. And while their connection might still be there, Joy isn't Dawson's anymore, and it would be better—safer—for everyone if he walked away. But walking away isn’t an option for Dawson, not this time.

He gave up everything to protect her once … and he’ll do it again.
I want to do a quick trigger warning.  Deliverance has some scenes that can trigger those who have suffered at the hands of domestic violence.  While I have been in abusive relationships, normally I don’t have any triggers when reading books with it in them but this time I had some slightly more anxiety than I usually do when it comes to this subject.  I just wanted to warn you all.  Now on to my review.

Deliverance is a second chance romance that will bring tears to your eyes, knots in your stomach and a knife to your heart.  It will also put a smile on your face, have you laugh out loud, and will repair the damage the knife to the heart causes.  Joy and Dawson will have your emotions on a roller coaster ride, and once that ride starts you won’t want it to stop until the very end.

Deliverance is written by two authors and the writing is smooth so you can’t notice that it is coming from two separate people.  I am going to be anxiously awaiting the next book in this series.  Add this one to your TBR lists, I think you will like it.

L.A is author of contemporary romance novels ranging from sweet with just a hint of steam, to suspenseful reads full of angst, tension, twists and turns. Home is a small town in the middle of England where she currently juggles being a full-time mum to two little people with writing. In her spare time (and when she’s not camped out in front of the laptop) you’ll most likely find L. A immersed in a book, escaping the chaos that is life.

Jenny Siegel writes contemporary romance. When she's not writing (or entertaining two little terrors) Jenny is glued to her Kindle, or plotting (also known as daydreaming) about hot tattooed heroes that will sweep a girl off her feet.
