About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Blog Tour! What The Lady Wants By Nika Rhone

The heiress…

She’d wanted him since she was eighteen. Four years away hasn’t cooled the heat Doyle arouses in her, which means it’s time for Thea to take the former Marine by the horns and open his eyes to everything he’s missing. What will it take to prove that she’s not some untouchable porcelain doll, but a red-blooded woman determined to finally get her man?

The bodyguard…

Honor forced Doyle to consider Thea off-limits. Keeping her that way was proving much more difficult. Every time he turns around she’s there, wreaking havoc on his senses, making him think about long, sweaty nights and how good she would feel wrapped up in his arms. How long could a man be expected to ignore the woman who calls to his every secret desire?

The danger…

But Doyle has a secret that could jeopardize not only the first fragile bonds of love, but Thea’s very life. Will he be able to act before it’s too late for them both?

What The Lady wants was a cute take on the whole bodyguard theme.  While I can’t honestly say that it was anything so very different that I could say it stands out more than others, what I can say is that I thought it was sweet, funny, suspenseful at times, sexy and a book I enjoyed reading one afternoon.  I really enjoyed the “Royal Court” and the way they conspired to get Doyle to see Thea as more than an assignment, but as a woman.  I must say the poor guy may have seemed unaffected but if Thea had only knew how crazy she made him I think she would have laughed at his pain a little.  I hope to God that in the future books one of the girl’s mothers, I will call her the fire breathing bitch, gets put in her place either by someone whooping her ass or verbally cutting her down.  I won’t want to ruin it by saying who I am referring to but once you read the book you will quickly figure it out for yourself.

I am looking forward to not only seeing what trouble these three will come up with for their next unexpected victim, I mean bodyguard.  I think that this is an author we need to keep our eye on because I have a feeling her  books are only going to get better and better.
