Review! Innocent Ride By Chelsea Camaron

Opposites attract, or so the saying goes. When two people from different worlds come together by a chance meeting twisted with an element of danger, can their attraction remain innocent? She's a corporate accountant. Her life is full of structure, routine, and organization. Settled, comfortable, and content, Caroline Milton, loves knowing what to expect every minute of every day. He's the Catawba Hellions VP and a wild one, refusing to be tamed. His motto, 'hit it, get it, and go; no repeats' where women are concerned, guarantees a new woman in his bed nightly. His life suddenly tilted on its axis, when his wild days come barreling back with a major responsibility. Drexel 'Rex' Crews finds he has a real reason to settle down his wild ways. When a situation quickly spins out of control at work for Caroline, she reaches out to the one place she least expected to find herself dependent upon. The Hellions Motorcycle Club. His cousin's ol' lady, Doll, comes to him with a personal favor, protect her best friend. He can't refuse. Protecting Caroline was supposed to be an innocent task. The attraction from their first meeting is still a fire burning strong inside of them both. Neither can deny the pull. They come from different worlds. Can Rex show Caroline the safety and security of the MC? Can Caroline tame the wild beast inside of Rex? Can their innocent ride become a journey to long lasting love?

In Innocent Ride we finally get Rex’s story. Now if you have followed the series you know Rex is the unapologetic manwhore. In Merciless Ride you find out that Rex and Tessie have a son and since then you begin to see a change in him. He knows he fucked up with Tessie but it’s not Tessie who drives him crazy and that he can’t stop thinking about, that would be Caroline aka Lux, his deluxe woman. Caroline, she’s really kind of a bitch, she says she doesn’t judge the Hellions Ride MC but she makes these little jabs about them even though her past isn’t all that she has let other believe.

I really loved watching Rex turn into the man he always was meant to be. He is a dad, a great friend, a protector, and one sexy as sin biker. He needed someone like Caroline who tells it to him real, she doesn’t hold back and at times humbles him while at the same time cutting his balls off when he deserves it. I wasn’t a huge fan of Caroline but when you find out more and more about her past you begin to feel sorry for parts of her life.

The title of this book may be Innocent Ride but there is absolutely nothing innocent about what happens between Rex and Caroline. I loved seeing Rex’s more softer side at times and seeing the unapologetic manwhore being brought to his knees and seeing him become a one woman man.

USA Today Bestselling author Chelsea Camaron is a small town Carolina girl with a big imagination. She is a wife and mom chasing her dreams. She writes contemporary romance, erotic suspense, and psychological thrillers. She loves to write blue-collar men who have real problems with a fictional twist. From mechanics to bikers to oil riggers to smokejumpers, bar owners, and beyond, she loves a strong hero who works hard and plays harder.
