While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Review! Hell's Geek By Eve Langlais Author Interview! & Giveaway!

Being smart in Hell isn’t a blessing, it’s a curse. Poor Adexios, he just can’t live up to his dad's reputation—nor does he want to. He’s got bigger dreams than ferrying damned souls the rest of his life.

Problem is Lucifer’s up to his matchmaking tricks again and is determined to pair him with a violent Amazon warrior—with bodacious curves.

Dragged into the wilds of Hell, Adexios is supposed to locate demons and conscript them to the legion, but instead discovers a malignant force is at work, and if they’re not careful it might claim their lives.

Hell’s Geek is the fifth book in the Welcome To Hell series.  You don’t have to read the previous books to enjoy Hell’s Geek but I am telling you right now to read them anyway.  This is one of the funniest series I have read and with each book I laugh a little harder, snort a little louder and want a Lucifer of my very own.  Now I may want the devil himself but a sexy, geeky ferryman has made me want to take a ride on his boat and use his paddle to get there.  If you didn’t get that little joke well then I don’t know what to say.

Anyways.  Adexious “Dex”  is the son of Charon and if you happen to be a tad bit rusty on your Greek mythology;  Charon is the ferryman who takes your soul across the rivers Styx and Acheron when entering the underworld or in this case Hell.  Let’s just say that Dex is no Charon, he has an ongoing war with the river monsters that is not only hilarious but tends to  get him in trouble with his dad more often than not.  Dex, though, is smart and in Hell that isn’t something to be proud of, his poor mother hates that her son is a genius because in Hell it is something to be proud of if you fail.

Valaska is an Amazon warrior.  She kicks major demon ass and thinks her geeky partner is sexy as hell and wants a bite of him.  Valaska doesn’t like to lose, and when she gets bested you are laughing out loud not only at what she says but I could picture the scene and what I would think her facial expression would be.

These two are thrown together because Lucifer, oh that randy devil, likes to play matchmaker.  Mind you he has his own lady love to please, and yes I mean that in more ways than one, but that doesn’t stop him from pairing the most unlikely couples together.  I love reading his scenes because while he may be able to torture your eternal soul, he has me snorting, laughing and loving his devilish ways.

If you are looking for a book that will have you smiling, laughing, snorting, and just overall a devilish read then make sure you not only check out Hell’s Geek but the entire Welcome To Hell series because I promise you will be wanting a devil of your own.

Barnes & Noble
Hi everyone!  Please welcome Eve Langlais to I’m A Sweet And Sassy Book Whore!  I absolutely love this author and her books always make me laugh.  She has a new release out, Hell’s Geek, and I read it and loved it.  Let’s get to know Eve a little better shall we?

Janna: Eve can you tell readers who may not be familiar with your books a little about what types of stories you write?

Eve: I love writing paranormal and science fiction romance but with a whacky spin. In the case of my Welcome to Hell series, you can expect a lot of humor, a twisted world and a Lucifer that wants to play matchmaker. A lot of my romances tend to turn out lusty and irreverent lol.

Janna:  Out of all of your books, which has been the most fun to write?  Which has been the hardest?  And I know asking an author which book is their favorite is like asking a parent who their favorite child is, but which is your favorite?

Eve: Lol, I love all my babies, but I have the most fun writing my purple alien mercenaries and my Hell books. Lucifer says the damnedest things in my stories lol. As to the hardest story to write…probably one that I’ve yet to write for Derrick, the last brother needing a story in my Freakn’ Shifter series. Because the hero is a wounded war vet dealing with his impairment not only as a man, but as a wolf, I’m going to need to be very careful how I write him. According to my muse, his story and issues are complex. But fans are demanding his tale, so I’d better buckle down.

Janna:  Is there any message that you want your readers to get from your books?

Eve: Laugh. Seriously, or not I guess lol. I want readers to get that happily ever after feeling at the end of the book, as they are reading I hope they smile and giggle out loud. More than 90% of my books are meant to make people laugh. I especially love it when something catches a reader by surprise and has them snorting so hard they wake their hubby.

Janna:  Who are some of your favorite authors and books?

Eve: I am a crazy Darynda Jones fan. Her humor is to die for. I also like Ilona Andrews, and some Thea Harrison because Drago is my favorite alpha hero.

Janna:  What are you currently working on?

Eve: Right now I am working on the third book of Bitten Point. This is a spin off of my bestselling Kodiak Point series and will follow a new group of shifters down in Florida. The first book, Croc’s Return, releases December 3rd, with book 2 hitting early March, and then book 3 and 4 are slated for probably mid April and late May. I am loving this new series because of the mystery and action that strings them together.

Janna:  If you could meet one person, either in the present or past, who would you pick?

Eve: I want to meet Cleopatra. She fascinates me.

Janna:  How can readers get in contact with you?

Eve: I’m all over but here’s some of the best places to find me.

Twitter: @evelanglais

Janna:  Can you give us a hint at what you will be working on next?

Eve: After my Bitten Point series is done, I’m going to space, baby! I’ve been dying to write a series off planet for a while now and am finally going to make the time for it.

Janna: Okay it’s time for this or that.  Eve, please pick one or the other.

Janna:  Wine or beer

Eve: Something blue in a martini glass lol

Janna: hot and steamy or slow and sweet?

Eve: Hot and steamy. Yeah, baby. lol

Janna: Sweet or Sassy

Eve: Sassy ;)

Janna: Chocolate or vanilla

Eve: Caramel? Snort. I’m so bad at this game.

Janna:  Ebook or Paperback

Eve: Ebook. Love it.

Janna: Shifter or Vampire?

Eve: Shifter because I mean seriously, tanned, muscled bods…Yum.

Janna:  Is there anything else you would like to share with the readers before we say goodbye?

Eve: You guys are awesome. Hope you snort reading a good book.

Thank you so much for joining me today.  I really appreciate that you took the time to do this interview with me and for the opportunity for the readers to get to know you a little better!
