About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer on the blog beyond a few guest reviews. It has been brought to my attention that people not associated with my blog have been requesting ARCs please if you ever question a request please email me at the blog's email.

Blog Tour! Worth The Chase By J.L. Beck

Gia King was more than tired of living under her father’s thumb. The Mafia King turned FBI agent was overly protective of her every move and college was her one and only savior. Going to Auburn University was her dream, and she couldn’t wait to be free. She was going to let her hair down and shuck the good girl appearance for a new side—a darker, sexier, and ten times worse, Gia. She was ready to push the boundaries.
Chase Winchester was a God. No, seriously. Women all across campus sighed heavily when their eyes stumbled across him. He was arrogant, sexy, and he knew it. AU was just another reason for him to spread his feathers and dip his fingers into some prime sorority girls.
Until Gia King came into his life, knocking him right on his ass. She was everything a man would want and yet, somehow, she was off limits. There was no way he could force himself to take her, unless she truthfully wanted him.
College, romance, and two families who were hell bent on being enemies. Can love between these two really transpire or will everyone else have the last say.
Sometimes you have to chase what you want.

I love it when an author takes two separate series and end up combining them to begin another.  This isn’t always an easy thing to do, especially if not done correctly but the way the Ms. Beck was able to combine the Kingpin series and the Bittersweet series, and do in such a way that you really don’t have to read the previous books for each, but really should because they are really good reads, shows how much talent this author really does have.

Without giving anything away be prepared to laugh, be dealt a little suspense, a whole lot of sexiness and some angst.  I have to love it when a couple has a I love you and I hate you relationship, it just adds to the spark, that flammable chemistry that once the one massive spark strikes that they  instantly ignite.  I am also going to say that I couldn’t imagine having a prior mafia boss turned FBI agent as a father, lord poor Gia has the over protective dad to beat all other over protective dads.  Chace, babe, you were an asshole at times but I still love ya.

Worth The Chase is a new adult read that will not only leave you laughing and all sorts of worked up sexually, but will have you wanting to read the other previous series, just to see more about their families.  J.L. Beck I can’t wait for the next book to come out, I want to see Taylor and Chance!

J.L. Beck is the best selling author of numerous books including Indebted, Inevitable, Invincible, and The Bittersweet Series. She's best known for weaving a tale, that ends with your mouth hanging open, and your hands gripping the edge of your seat.

She's a no holds bar author who enjoys spending time with her husband of seven years, three year old hellion, and Hatchi the fur baby. She calls Wisconsin home, but loves to travel. In her free time you can catch her watching bad reality tv, cooking, reading books, or spending time outdoors.
Follow her to see what wicked adventures she's up too...
