About me

Hi I'm Janna and I am a book whore! I started this blog after being a part of another for years. While being a big blog may be nice I like to stay true to me having a love for books, that's why I blog. I love books and I want to share that love with my readers of this blog. I love to read, books are my escape and a huge part of my life besides my husband and two children. I am honest and sometimes sassy in my reviews but never mean. Some of my favorite authors include Kristen Ashley, Penelope Douglas, T.M. Frazier, M.N. Forgy, Rachel Van Dyken, Meghan March and Vi Keeland to only name a few!

Blog Tour! Beauty And The Boss By Diane Alberts

Beauty is about to tame her beast...
Researcher Maggie Donovan has no luck with men, and it doesn't help that she can't keep her eyes off of her sexy boss - the one everyone else in the office calls The Beast. Relationships in the office are forbidden. So no one is more surprised than Maggie when she pretends to be his fiancée to save him during a difficult situation. Not only has she put her job on the line, but the future of thecompany.
Billionaire Benjamin Gale III doesn't believe in love or romance, but the look on his mother's face when Maggie tells her that she's his fiancée is worth millions. Instead of firing her for her insubordination, he goes along with the ruse. In his arms-and in his bed-she'd be everything he could ever want…which is why he can't have her.
But if he doesn't let her go, they'll lose everything…

Sometimes to tame a beast you have to have a beauty that not only knows how to tame him, but isn’t scared to protect him from those who try to do him harm. If you haven’t already guessed based on the title, Beauty And The Boss is a modern day twist on one of my favorite childhood movies. No talking teapots here people, just one boss who is nicknamed the beast for being well a beast towards his employees. Although I think his mother could truly win that title for how she treats Benjamin, hell I think some evil queens may avoid her, yes she is that bad. Anyways there is only one employee who doesn’t fear him or feel his beastly side, Maggie. Not only does she stand up to his mother, which ends them up being “engaged”, but she, like Belle does in Beauty And The Beast protects Benjamin and helps to heal him.

Beauty And The Boss was a pleasant way to pass an afternoon. It was sweet, funny, sexy, and overall a good play on the classic story. It kind of reminded me that sometimes fairy tales do come true, but in a more modern way. I hadn’t previously read anything by this author before but I will be looking up to see what other books she has out there.
